We know there are many things to consider when choosing a home and we know relocation comes with many unique challenges. At JCFS, it is our pleasure to welcome and support you through this process. We are here for you before you arrive with pre-arrival services and resources. We are here for you after you arrive with settlement, integration, and employment services.
Whether you want help with obtaining necessary documents upon landing, information on schools, searching for employment, or connecting with Canadian and Jewish life -our Settlement and Integration Services team is here to support you.

What are JCFS Settlement Services?
JCFS Settlement Services provides the support and resources to help establish a new life in Winnipeg. A Settlement Worker will help you and your family with many vital aspects of living in Canada.

Every year JCFS Settlement Services offers a wide range of integration activities specially designed to facilitate their adjustment to life in Canada.
What are JCFS Integration Services?
JCFS will assist you and your family in becoming part of the Winnipeg Jewish community. In cooperation with the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg and other Jewish community organizations, we will introduce you to the local resources available to Jewish families, including schools, synagogues, youth programs, camps, kosher facilities etc.
We will also provide you opportunities to participate in community activities and events, meet others and make new friends. Some social and educational events are planned for adults, while others are organized for the whole family. JCFS also organizes free seminars and workshops on topics that are of interest to newcomers.
What are JCFS Employment Services?
JCFS assists new immigrants to our community with information about the local job market, employers, service providers and the job search process.
