JCFS offers Cafe Europa weekly. It’s a friendly gathering of Holocaust survivors where they are served with a delicious lunch followed by an interesting program. In this group, we met an amazing woman who survived by hiding in a village in France with her family.
There was also a married couple and sisters that survived, and ultimately made to trek to Winnipeg! The world’s oldest surviving Holocaust survivor siblings are there too! Look for the “Crossing the River – the Fink Family Story.”
