project dedicated to preserving and sharing the experiences of Jewish immigrant women who build their lives in Winnipeg.

Their stories highlight journeys of immigration, adaptation, resilience, and community contribution.

This program is being brought to life on stage through an adaptation directed by Kayla Gordon in partnership with Winnipeg Jewish Theatre. These personal stories have been compiled in a book in both print and digital formats. The book will serve as a lasting record of the voices, experiences, and contributions of Jewish newcomer women, ensuring their histories are preserved and accessible for future generations.

None of this would have been possible without the generous support of the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba. We are deeply grateful for their generosity and commitment to recognizing and preserving these important immigration stories.
