KRISTA ZIPPER, BA

Krista Zipper, BA, is working as a Support Worker with both Older Adult Service clients and Mental Health clients. Krista’s diversified background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in History and Biology and work experience in the livestock marketing area as well as landscaping and property maintenance. Krista is looking forward to gaining experience in working with people in social services.







GAIL THAU MSW, RSW

Gail has recently been hired as a staff person in the OAS area. Prior to that she was working as a JCFS Contact Counsellor where she provided counseling to individuals and families dealing with challenging issues in their lives including anxiety, depression marital problems.  Having practiced for over 20 years Gail has a wealth of experience as a social worker. She has worked as a Case Coordinator for the W.H.R.A Home Care program for many years and as a private Home Study assessor dealing with custody and guardianship applications, and a Resource Coordinator in the residential care division. Although she has worked with many different populations Gail is very comfortable providing service to the Jewish elderly as she has a thorough knowledge of the resources and a deep empathy and understanding of the individuals and families with whom she will be working.



EINAT KEYNAN, MSW

Einat is the Agency’s new Manager of Volunteer Services. Einat and her husband, Yoav and two daughters arrived from Israel a year ago. Over the winter months Einat led a support group for elderly clients who were dealing with difficult transitions in their lives. She has both a Bachelor of Social Work degree and a Master of Social Work from the University of Haifa. In Israel, she worked for the Department of Social Services for the municipality of Haifa initially in their elderly care unit and later she became the coordinator of volunteers. Einat brings to her new position a rich background in the field of social services with a specialty in Gerontology. She is enthusiastic about living in Winnipeg and bringing her skills to a new setting in her new home and community.
