The Asper Helping Hand Initiative,
administered by Jewish Child
and Family Service, provides interest-free loans to people
at every stage of life.
The program assists individuals and families in becoming
or remaining self-supporting and valued members of the
community through self-respect and dignity. A borrower
must:
- be experiencing temporary financial hardships
- be a Jewish resident of Manitoba
- be able to demonstrate a need for the loan
- have the ability to repay it
- provide qualified guarantors who are willing to
co-sign
